2C. OPTIONAL CONNECTION TO LIGHTSPEED
CAT 885 AMPLIFIER
If you are connecting into a new or existing Lightspeed Cat 885 amplifier, you can use Cat
5 cabling to integrate the two components (a 2’ cable is included with the system). This
connection will send the audio from Multimike to the Cat 885 as well as provide power for
the Multimike (no need for an additional AC power connection).
1. Plug one end of the Cat 5 cable into the AUDIO OUT/DC IN jack on the Multimike.
2. Plug the other end into the “SENSOR INPUT” jack on the 885 amplifier.
3. Plug in the Cat 885 into AC power (if it’s not already) and the blue power light on the
front of the Multimike will light.
4. Multimike audio levels can be controlled with the Microphone Volume control on
Multimike as well as the CH A control on the 885 amplifier.
