Final Adjustment of Transport Lock
1. Lift up SolidStep XF to its stored position (Fig. 10). Make sure transport latch flanges (Figs. 10A, 11A and
12A) are resting against the door frame. If final adjustment is required, loosen the two bolts (Fig. 11B
and Fig. 12B) on either side of the adjustable transport lock. This allows for side-to-side adjustment in
the latch mechanism.
Prior to using the transport lock, the latching mechanism may need to be adjusted to the proper
left-right orientation and tightened in position. Attempting to engage the transport lock without
proper adjustment may cause damage to the doorframe or step assembly.
