Connecting a High-Definition (HD) Device with YUV SCART Adapter
Not all A/V devices have the ability to connect
to a TV. Please check your A/V devices user
guides for compatibility.
Use a component cable to connect the external 1.
A/V device’s component output jacks to the TV’s
SCART IN jack using the supplied YUV SCART
adapter. Use an audio cable to connect the
external A/V device’s component audio jacks to
the TV’s AUDIO IN jacks.
To achieve better picture quality, connect a DVD
player to the component input ports as shown
below.

Plug the connected devices into the mains socket 2.
before plugging your TV into the mains socket.
Press the3.
/ I button on the top panel of the TV
or the
button on the remote control to turn on
your TV.
Press the 4. FUNCTION button on the top panel of
the TV or on the remote control to display the
Source List. Use the
buttons to select
YUV/SCART mode, and then press the
ENTER/OK button. Or you may just press the
AV button on the remote control to select YUV/
SCART mode directly.
Connecting an A/V Device with SCART Cable
Use a SCART cable to connect the external A/V 1.
device’s SCART socket to the TV’s SCART IN jack.
Plug the connected devices into the mains socket 2.

Press the3.

button on the remote control to turn on
your TV.
Press the 4. FUNCTION button on the top panel
of the TV or the FUNCTION or AV button on the
remote control to display the Source List. Use the
buttons to select AV2/SCART mode, and
then press the ENTER/OK button. Or you may
just press the AV button on the remote control to
select AV2/SCART mode directly.
