Making Calls
Quick dialing
1. During standby, press and hold a digit key that you have set a quick dial number to and your call is made.
For information on how to set quick dial numbers, refer to “Assign a quick dial key” under section 5: Using
Your Phonebook.
End a call
1. Press
End (ON/OFF) Key or place the phone on the charger.
Answer a call
When you receive a call, the phone will ring and will ash in the display.
1. Press
Talk (R/FLASH) Key to answer the call.
• Caller ID
The caller’s Skype™ name will be shown on the display.
• Turning off the ringer
Press SILENT when the phone is ringing to tun off the ringer for the call or press and hold * Key when
the phone is in standby to turn off the ringer for all calls.

(Press and hold * Key again to turn on the ringer.)
Making second outgoing call
While on a call, you can always make a second outgoing call.
1. While on the rst call, press
Talk (R/FLASH) Key. A dial tone should be heard; the rst call will be put on
hold.
2. To call an ordinary number, enter the number; to call a contact, press
to obtain the contact list; select
the contact to call.
3. Press Prole to view the detail of the contact and then press DIAL to make the second call.
4. To return to the rst call or to toggle between calls, press
Talk (R/FLASH) Key.
5. To end one of the two calls, simply return to the other call.
Receive second incoming call
While you are on a call, you can pick up a second incoming call.
1. When there is a second incoming call, a call-waiting alert will be heard.
2. Press
Talk (R/FLASH) Key to pick up the second call.
3. Press
Talk (R/FLASH) Key again to return to the rst call, and to toggle between the two calls.
4. To end one of the two calls, simply return to the other call.
