Why does my Logitech Cordless internet handset contact list show 'Unavailable'?
    • E
      Eric Johnson Jr.Aug 17, 2025
If your Logitech Handsets displays 'Unavailable' or 'Disconnected', the cause may be that Skype™ is not started or logged-in. Another cause might be that the USB driver is not started, the USB is not plugged in, the USB is connected to a USB hub/docking station which is not powered, or the PC is in standby/hibernate mode. To solve this: * Check if the USB driver is started. * Double click on the USB driver’s icon to see the connection status. * If you are using a USB hub or docking station, check if the USB ports are powered.

If you are experiencing crackles or echo with your Logitech Handsets, it might be due to interference from nearby electrical appliances or because the base unit is installed in a room with thick walls. It could also be that the handset is too far from the base unit. Try moving the PC or installing the base unit in a different location. You can also try moving closer to the base unit.

How to fix Logitech Handsets when no beep is heard on charger?
    • E
      Emily PonceSep 5, 2025
If you don't hear a beep when placing your Logitech Handsets on the charger, it might not be placed properly, the charging contacts could be dirty, or the tones are turned off. Also, there will be no beep if the handset’s power is turned off previously. Try taking the handset off the charger and putting it back again, cleaning the charging contacts with a clean and dry cloth, or turning on the handset tone from the Sounds Menu. Check if the LED on the Charger is on. When the handset is properly placed on the charger, the LED should turn on. Plug in the adopter of the charger to the wall power supply.
