Register a handset
You can register your phone to up to 4 base units. Each base unit can register up to 4 handsets.
Your handset is registered to the base unit by default and is ready to use. You only have to register your
handset if UNREGISTERED is displayed.
To register your handset when UNREGISTERED:
1. Press REGISTER.
2. Press OK to select REGISTER.
3. Press and hold the button on the base unit until the IN USE LED on the base ashes.
4. Enter the PIN code. (Default 0000)
5. Press OK
. You will see a conrmation screen when registration is completed.
To register your phone to an additional base unit:
1. Press Menu.
2. Press Up or Down to select SYSTEM. Press OK.
3. Press Up or Down to select REGISTER. Press OK
.
4. Press and hold the button on the base unit for 4 seconds; the IN USE LED on the base ashes.
5. Enter the PIN code on your handset. (Default 0000)
6. Press OK. You will see a conrmation screen when registration is completed.
NOTE: If registration is successful, the handset will display its name and number. The icon, which indicates
the link between your phone and the base unit, will display steadily with the battery icon . This state is
referred as “standby”.
If registration fails, a warning screen will display. The handset will not display the handset number. will
ash. You need to repeat the above procedure.
Delete a handset
You can delete any handsets from the base unit. Once you delete a handset, that handset will no longer have
a link with the base unit.
The information in the phonebook and call records is still available to you. However, you will no longer have
access to the features related to the base from the deleted handset.
1. Press Menu.
2. Press Up or Down to select SYSTEM. Press OK.
3. Press Up or Down to select DELETE HS. Press OK.
4. Press Up or Down to select the handset to be deleted. Press OK.
5. Enter your PIN code. Press OK
.
NOTE: If you want to delete a registered handset, SUCCESSFUL will appear on your display screen. If you want
to delete an unregistered handset, FAILED will appear on your display screen.
