9 FIRMWARE UPDATE

9. Press UPDATE button to perform the update, the tool will step thru the list and
update one device at the time, during this process the devices will reboot.
When the device has restarted, a firmware check is made and, in the list, the devices
should now be presented with their updated version.
Approximate time for a full update of a single system (operator panel and searchlight)
is approximately 1-2 minutes, slightly depending on the computer's performance.
10. Now your devices are updated with new firmware and ready for use.
The tool can now be uninstalled from the computer.
> If the tool “time out” during the update, restart the tool and scan and update again.
> If the tool finalizes the update but doesn’t uncheck all the boxes after the process, restart
the tool and scan again.
It is very important that all panels and searchlights are powered and connected to the
network so that update is performed in all devices if the firmware version so requires. If not,
functions may be lost and/or stability affected.
9.5 UNINSTALL THE FIRMWARE TOOL
Uninstall from the Start menu
• Select the Start button and look for the app or program in the list shown.
• Press and hold (or right-click) on the app, then select Uninstall.

Uninstall from the Settings page
• Select the Start button, then select Settings > Apps > Apps & features.
• Select the app “Luminell SL Firmware Tool”, and then select Uninstall.
