How to fix no spark at the electrode of my Magiglo Custom 18 Indoor Fireplace?

  If no spark appears at the electrode of your Magiglo Indoor Fireplace, it could be due to several reasons. First, the electrode might be cracked or broken, in which case you should replace the pilot assembly. Second, the HT lead might be shorting out on the burner body; identify where the spark is occurring and insulate or re-route the lead. Lastly, the spark generator could be faulty, requiring a valve replacement.

  If the pilot and main burner of your Magiglo Indoor Fireplace go out when the control is set to the high position, possible causes include: 1. A partially blocked gas supply. Locate the restriction and remove the faulty section. 2. Too many bends on the gas inlet pipe. Increase the diameter and/or reduce the number of bends. 3. A partially blocked pilot jet. Replace the complete pilot assembly. 4. A restriction at the isolation valve. Ensure the valve is fully open and that the internal diameter is sufficient and free from grease.
