  If you encounter a software error with your Magnetrol Transmitter, start by waiting up to 10 seconds, as it might be a standard start-up message. If the issue persists, perform a complete device configuration. You may also want to check the accuracy of the level reading and compare the Dielectric Range against the EoP Dielectric reading. If the level reading is incorrect, consider replacing the transmitter electronics. Shield the transmitter from any heat source or improve air circulation. For very cold environments, insulate the transmitter. If these steps don't resolve the problem, you may need to return the transmitter to the factory for recalibration. In some cases, saving a fresh Echo Rejection Curve might help.

  To address a software error on your Magnetrol Transmitter, make sure the 'Model 706 Style' probe is properly attached and the HF nut is torqued. Clean the gold pin on the transmitter and the socket on the probe. Also, check your settings, including Dielectric Range Sensitivity, EoP Thresh Value, and Sensitivity Increase. Try lowering the EoP Threshold and view the Echo Curve. Check the probe model and length settings, and set the Level Threshold to Fixed. Increase the sensitivity and view the Echo Curve. If the issue persists, verify the proper probe length for your application.
