What does 'LVL < Probe Length' mean on Magnetrol eclipse Enhanced Model 705?
    • C
      Craig GrimesSep 23, 2025
If 'LVL < Probe Length', the apparent position of the upper level pulse is beyond the end of the probe. Check the entered probe length and change the threshold to fixed.

What to do if LEVEL, % OUTPUT, and LOOP values fluctuate on Magnetrol Transmitter?
    • T
      Timothy GriffithAug 25, 2025
If the LEVEL, % OUTPUT, and LOOP values are fluctuating, it might be due to turbulence. Increase the Damping factor until the readings stabilize.

Why is level reading stuck at full scale and loop stuck at 20.5 mA on Magnetrol eclipse Enhanced Model 705 Transmitter?
    • C
      Christopher DavisAug 26, 2025
If the Level Reading on the Display is stuck at full scale, and the loop is stuck at 20.5 mA, the software might believe the probe is flooded. Check the actual level. If the probe is not flooded, check for buildup or obstructions near the top of the probe and select a higher dielectric range. Also, check for condensation in the probe connection and consider adding Blocking Distance.

How to correct consistently high or low LEVEL readings on Magnetrol eclipse Enhanced Model 705 Transmitter?
    • M
      Michele SmithAug 27, 2025
If LEVEL readings are repeatable but consistently high or low from the actual level by a fixed amount, the configuration data might not accurately match the probe length or tank height. Ensure the proper Probe Model and probe length are set. You can also adjust the trim level value by the amount of noted inaccuracy.

What causes high LEVEL, % OUTPUT, and LOOP readings on Magnetrol eclipse Enhanced Model 705 Transmitter?
    • G
      Gary ThompsonAug 27, 2025
If the LEVEL, % OUTPUT, and LOOP values are all reading high compared to the actual level, there might be an obstruction in the tank affecting the single rod probe. Adjust the sensitivity until the obstruction is ignored, or relocate the probe away from the obstruction.

What does 'Lo Temp' mean on Magnetrol Transmitter and how can I address it?
    • L
      Larry WrightSep 17, 2025
The 'Lo Temp' message indicates that the present temperature in the electronics compartment is below -40° C. The transmitter may need to be moved to ensure the ambient temperature is within specification, or you can change to a remote mount transmitter.

What triggers the 'SZ Alarm' on a Magnetrol eclipse Enhanced Model 705?
    • J
      Joy SantiagoSep 14, 2025
The 'SZ Alarm' (Safety Zone alarm) is triggered when the level exceeds the safety zone limit. Decrease the level in the vessel.

What does 'Hi Temp' mean on Magnetrol eclipse Enhanced Model 705 and how to resolve it?
    • M
      Mark CampbellSep 16, 2025
The 'Hi Temp' message indicates that the present temperature in the electronics compartment is above +80° C. The transmitter may need to be moved to ensure the ambient temperature is within specification, or you can change to a remote mount transmitter.

What does EOP High mean on Magnetrol Transmitter?
    • B
      Brandi RiveraSep 6, 2025
If you see 'EOP High', it means the End of Probe signal is out of range. Ensure the probe length is entered correctly.

How to resolve WeakSgnl error on Magnetrol Transmitter?
    • J
      Jessica GarciaSep 3, 2025
If you are getting a WeakSgnl error, the signal amplitude is lower than desired. Set the transmitter to a lower dielectric range and increase the sensitivity.
