Why is level reading stuck at full scale and loop stuck at 20.5 mA on Magnetrol eclipse Enhanced Model 705 Transmitter?

      Christopher DavisAug 26, 2025
If the Level Reading on the Display is stuck at full scale, and the loop is stuck at 20.5 mA, the software might believe the probe is flooded. Check the actual level. If the probe is not flooded, check for buildup or obstructions near the top of the probe and select a higher dielectric range. Also, check for condensation in the probe connection and consider adding Blocking Distance.

If the LEVEL, % OUTPUT, and LOOP values are fluctuating, it might be due to turbulence. Increase the Damping factor until the readings stabilize.
