raisingthedecktotransportposition.
Raisethedecktoitsmaximum.
When transporting the equipment without towing it
behind a vehicle, disconnect the wire from the spark
plug(s) and keep away from spark plug(s) to prevent
accidentalstarting.
IMPORTANT:
Reduce vehicle’s ground speed when turning and
leaveenoughclearancesotheaccessorydoesnot
comeintocontactwithobstaclessuchasbuildings,
trees,orfences.
When traveling on roadways, transport in such a
way that faster moving vehicles may pass you
safely.
Reduce speed when traveling over rough or hilly
terrain.
Always look down and behind, before and while
drivingbackwardswiththeaccessory.
Makesurethattheaccessoriesrearhitchbar
equipmentdoesnotcomeintocontactwiththe
vehicle’swheels.

Do not operate and/or travel across steep inclines
whereavehiclecanrolloverresultinginseriousinjury
ordeath.
Consultyourvehicle’smanualforacceptableinclines
thevehicleiscapableoftravelingacross.

DISMOUNTINGANDSTORAGE
DISMOUNTING:
1.Shutofftheaccessory’sengine.
2.Selectalevelsurface,settheparkingbrake,stop
thevehicle'sengineandremovetheignitionkeyto
preventaccidentalstarting.
3.Removethecontrolboxfromthevehicleandinstallit
ontheaccessory’sbatteryguard.
4.Detachtheaccessoryfromthevehiclebyremovingit
fromtherearballhitch.
LONGTERMSTORAGE
1. Clean off any dirt and grease that may have
accumulated on the accessory and moving parts.
Scrape off compacted dirt from the bottom of the
deck and then wash surface thoroughly with a
gardenhose.Acoatingofoilmayalsobeappliedto
thelowerdeckareatominimizeoxidation.
2. Checkbladesandbladeboltsforwearandreplace
ifnecessary.See“BladeMaintenance”section.
3. Inspect accessory for loose, damaged, or worn
partsandadjustorreplaceasneeded.
4. Repaint parts where paint is worn or scratched to
preventrust.
5. Replacealldamagedormissingdecals.
6. Followtheinstructionsintheengineowner'smanual.
7. Storeaccessory on a level surfaceand ina clean,
dry place. Inside storage will reduce maintenance
andassurealongerlife.
WARNING
TOPREVENTINJURIES:
Always keep the tow bar on the ground when the
mower is not in use. A tow bar left in the raised
positioncanfallandcauseinjuries.
