HowtoReplaceaReplicator2XXYZEndstopCable

TheseareinstructionsforreplacingtheXYZendstopcableontheReplicator2X.Theywill
requiretheuseofthe2.5mmhexwrenchthatcamewithyourbot,severalzipties,anda
wirecutterorstrongpairofscissors.

Note:Yournewendstopcableshouldshipwiththejumpercablealreadyattached.Iftheyare
notalreadyconnected,simplyattachthelargerendofthejumpercabletotheXaxismotor
cable.YouwillalsoreceiveajumpercablefortheXYZmotorcable,whichyoushouldalso
attach.

Beforeyoustart,dothefollowing:
•Unloadandremoveanyfilament.
•TurnofftheReplicator2X.
•Removethefilamentguidetubeandspoolholder.
•UnplugpowerandUSBcables.
•RemovetherightsidepaneloftheReplicator2X.

TheXYZendstopcableconnectstotheMightyboardwithasingleconnector,butfromthere
branchesoffinthreedirections,onesectiongoingtoeachofthethreeendstops.

1.Disconnectthecablefromallthreeendstops,aswellasthemotorcablefromthe
Xaxismotor.

Unplugtheblackplasticcableconnectorfromeachendstop.TheYaxisendstopislocatedat
theupperbackleftcorneroftheReplicator2X’sinterior.TheZaxisendstopislocatedbehind
thetopsectionofthethreadedZaxisrod.TheXaxisendstopislocatedontopoftheXaxis
motor,attherightsideofthegantry.AlsounplugthemotorcablefromtheXaxismotor.

2.DetachtheXaxissectionoftheendstopandmotorcablesfromthegantry.

TheXaxissectionsoftheendstopandmotorcablesroutethroughaholeandintoaslotonthe
sideofthegantry.Pullthecableconnectorsfreeofthehole.Thenprythemetaldoweloutof
theslotatthesideofthegantryandsetitaside.Slidetheendstopandmotorcablesoutofthe
slot.

3.Detachallthreeendstopcablesectionsfromtheircableclips.

TherearetwokindsofclipsholdingthesecablesectionstotheinterioroftheReplicator2X:a
curvedmetalflapandaplasticpiecewithaholeforaziptie.Removethecablesfromtheziptie
clipusingastrongscissororwirecuttertocliptheziptie,beingverycarefulnottodamagethe
