2. With both hands under the instrument, lift to its operating location. Keep the
instrument upright.
Changing the computer
If the computer to be used with the instrument has to be changed, contact Malvern Instru-
ments.
Upgrading the software
If an upgrade CD is provided, follow this procedure.
Note:If the original software is subsequently updated with a new version, any
custom reports, parameter settings, SOPs, etc. will be preserved. However, back
up this data first.
1. Remove the old version of the software using the Add/Remove Programs function
in the Windows Control Panel.
2. Insert the new Zetasizer software CD into the CD drive.
3. If Autorun is enabled, the software will install automatically. (If it is not enabled,
select Start-Run-Setup.exe). Then follow the on-screen instructions.
