Filling vials
Note:replacement vials are available to order from Malvern Instruments.
Fill your sample vial, ensuring no air bubbles are present in the sample. A minimum
sample volume of 750 μl is required for one analysis; 1.6 mL is required for three rep-
licate analyses. Do not overfill the vial and ensure there is some headspace above the
sample, as shown in the illustration - the level should be just above the 1.5mL marker
line:
Note: Never fill the vial above the neck.
Loading vials
The NanoSampler contains two trays, each capable of holding 48 vials. The trays are
marked A-F by row and 1-8 by column. The vials are analyzed in the order set by the playl-
ist. When using the range sampling feature the playlist is populated in the order A1, A2,
A3….A8, B1, B2, etc. with tray 1 analyzed before tray 2.
