Error codes
The following errors may occur with the NanoSampler. These are automatically generated
by the system and written to the log file, which can be opened in any text editor:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Malvern Instruments\Zetasizer Soft-
ware\Autosampler.log
Note:the errors listed here are those for which a remedy can be performed by
the user. In the case of other errors, please contact Malvern support.
Tray unit
Error Code Description Action
ERROR 294 Home sensor not reached.
Check for obstructions on tray move-
ment (slide the tray back and forth)
ERROR 295 Tray position check error.
Check for visible obstructions in tray
area
ERROR 296 Home sensor not de-activated.
Check if the transport foam is removed
from tray compartment
ERROR 298 Tray position is unknown. Restart instrument
