Removing and fitting vibration damper,
replacing front crankshaft gasket

Loosen the securing screws of the cover.

Remove the cover.
Only replace the front crankshaft gasket as a com-
plete unit, i.e. replace the bearing race and the
radial shaft sealing ring.
Replacing bearing race

A stripping device (special tool) is required to re-
move the bearing race.

Pull off the bearing race.
