B3 – GEAR BOX OIL LEVEL
CHECK
Park the lift truck on level ground with the boom raised, the engine shut down. Carryout
the check within 5 minutes of engine shutdown.
IMPORTANT
Raise the boom and place the boom safety wedge on the rod of the lifting cylinder (see: 1 - OPERATING AND SAFETY
INSTRUCTIONS: LIFT TRUCK MAINTENANCE INSTRUCTIONS).
- Remove the plastic cap 1.
- Pull out dipstick 2.
- Wipe the dipstick and check the correct level between the two MIN and MAX marks.
- If necessary, add oil (see: 3 - MAINTENANCE: E6 - GEAR BOX OIL).
- Visually check that there is no leakage or seepage of oil in the transmission.
B4 – TYRE PRESSURE AND WHEEL NUT TORQUES
CHECK
IMPORTANT
Check that the air hose is correctly connected to the tire valve before inflating and keep all persons at a distance during inflation. Follow the recommended tire pressures.
- Check the condition of the tires, to detect cuts, blisters, wear, etc.
- Check the torque load of the wheel nuts. Non-compliance with this instruction can lead to damage and failure of the
wheel bolts and distortion of the wheels.
- Check and restore tire pressures if necessary (see: 2 - DESCRIPTION: TIRES).
NOTE: There is an OPTIONAL wheel toolkit.
