12.13 Replacing a transformer (high voltage)
Component
1000W e2s variant: one high voltage transformer feeding the
magnetron.
2000W e2s variant: two high voltage transformers side by side.
Tools required
M8 hex socket wrench
Requirements
Check that the following requirements have been met:
 The appliance has been disconnected from the power supply and protective measures have been
taken to ensure the power cannot be switched on again.
 The appliance is cool.
 The casing of the appliance is removed.
 The high voltage capacitors are discharged before commencing work.
 Anti-static precautions have been taken.
