9. Swing the boom extension backward until it makes
contact with swing bracket. Align the swing bracket with
the bracket on the boom extension. Then push the boom
extension mounting bracket onto the swing bracket.
Install the pin (Figure 5-31).
10. Remove the two pins (Figure 5-32) securing the boom
extension to the boom head.
11. Push the boom extension onto the anchor bracket and
install the pin (Figure 5-33).
12. Install the pins removed in Steps 6 and 10 in the vacant
holes in the extension link.
13. Install pins that were removed in their stowed positions.
14. Reeve the boom head.
15. Install the hook block.
