6. UPDATE FIRMWARE
Update microprocessor’s software to internal
Flash-ROM.
• Thismodeistoupdatethesoftwareformicroprocessor.
• ThetargetdeviseisinternalflashROMofmicroprocessor
(IC40) on CPU PWB (CUP12094Z-1).
• Theupdatingofsoftwaretakesabout20seconds.
NECESSARY EQUIPMENT
The following items are required for updating.
• WindowsPC(OS:Windows2000orWindowsXP)with
Serial port.
• RS-232CDsub-9pincable(femaletofemale/straight
type)
• UpdatesoftwaretoCPU.(FlashSta.exe,MM8003_
yymmddvv.mot and MM8003_yymmddvv.id in CPU
(MM8003) folder)
• DATAUPDATEKIT(partno.90M-SR4500JIG)
Use DATA UPDATE KIT to connect PC and CN42 (FFC
connector) in rear panel of the unit, when updating CPU
Update CPU’s software to internal Flash-ROM
Disconnect the mains cord from the unit.1.
Connect PC and the DATA UPDATE KIT with the RS-2.
232C cable. And connect FFC (upside contact) to the
connector (CN42) into the rear panel of the unit from the
DATA UPDATE KIT.
6. UPDATE FIRMWARE
Update microprocessor's software to internal
Flash-ROM.

• 基板CUP12094Z-1 (CPU PWB) のIC40のマイコン内部の
フラッシュ
ROMに書き込みます。
• 書き込みにかかる時間は約20秒です。
必要機器
下記は更新に必要な機器です。
• Windows PC (OS : Windows2000 またはWindowsXP) で
Serial ポートのあるもの
• RS-232C ストレートケーブル(9Pin メス-9Pin メス)

マイコンのファームウェアを更新する場合、DATA
UPDATE KIT
を使用しPCと本機のリアパネル内にある
CN42とを接続します。

本機から電源ケーブルを抜きます。1.
DATA UPDATE KIT
のRS-232CコネクタとWindows PCの2.
Serial
ポートをRS-232Cケーブルで接続し、本機のリアパ
ネルに
DATA UPDATE KITのFFC をコンタクト面を上にし
て差し込みます。
