The new top quality SR8002 AV receiver is simply the best AV receiver ever offered
by Marantz. This leading model from the new upgraded Marantz AV-receiver series
easily surpasses the performance levels of even separate components in both sheer brawn and
subtle sophistication. As a THX Select2 certificatied AV receiver - and power output of 125 Watts
RMS from each of its seven current-feedback amplifiers - the SR8002 will recreate the sonic
impact of dynamic movie soundtracks in the largest rooms. Technologies like THX Select2
provide uncompromised 7.1 channel playback of any multi-channel program, whether it's movie
soundtracks or music, over the widest possible seating area. The incorporated 4in and 2out
HDMI 1.3a sockets with deep colour technology the SR8002 is ready to handle current as well as
tomorrow's technology as full HD video and HD audio as Dolby Digital Plus, Dolby TrueHD
and DTS HD. Together with a built in audio enhancer for compressed audio as mp3, WAV and
AAC, upconversion from analogue signals including I/P conversion to HDMI and possibilities to
