4.1 Errors
General
Description String Error correction
Duplicate MAC Address
More than one device with
same MAC Address (n)
The MAC Address must
be unique. Eliminate any
duplicates.
For each device

MAC address with more
characters than expected
or illegal characters
Wrong MAC Address (n)
If the MAC Address is
entered by the user it
must consist of letters
and numbers only and not
exceed 12 characters
MAC Address not dened
Device: n - MAC Address
not dened
Enter the MAC Address
MAC Address and device
type incompatible
Device n - The programmed
device type doesn’t match
the paired one.
The MAC Address and
version are read during
the pairing procedure.
The version value also
includes the device
type code. If this error
is generated it means
that the device type read
from the version is not
compatible with the value
indicated in the “Device
Type” eld, in which case it
is necessary to modify the
value in this eld, or carry
out the pairing procedure
with a device like the one
indicated in the “Device
Type” eld.
