5) Remove front bumper mounting bracket (1).
6) Remove discharge hose (2) from condenser inlet fittings.
7) Disconnect condenser outlet pipe (3) from condenser outlet fit-
tings.
8) Disconnect suction hose (4) from suction pipe (5).
NOTE:
As soon as the above hose and pipe disconnected, cap
opened fittings so that moisture and dust do not enter
condenser.
9) Remove suction hose clamp bolts (6).
10) Remove condenser assembly attaching bolts (7).
11) Remove condenser assembly.
NOTE:
Be careful not to damage fins of condenser.
12) Remove cooling fan from condenser.
Installation
1) Reverse removal sequence to install condenser assembly
noting the follows.
Tighten specified torque to flared nut for condenser.
Tightening Torque for flared nut
Suction hose : 33 N·m (3.3 kg-m)
Condenser outlet pipe : 13 N·m (1.3 kg-m)
NOTE:
When replacing condenser, add 15 cc of refrigerating oil
from compressor suction-side.
2) Evacuate and charge system according to previously-de-
scribed procedure.
CONDENSER COOLING FAN MOTOR
INSPECTION
Check continuity between each two terminals about the condenser
cooling fan motor (1).
If check results are continuity, proceed to next operation check.
If not, replace.
