How to program?
Please refer “Class Of Service (COS)” for details on how to allow continued dialing on trunk to a station.
Please note that a station that is allowed the feature of trunk reservation can only use continued dialing.

Conversation Recording
What’s this?
• The PROTON 206/308 supports this feature if Matrix VMS viz. Cadence is interfaced with it.
• This feature enables the station user to record the on-going conversation. The conversation is recorded in
the mailbox of the station user who uses this feature.
How to use it?
How to program?
No special programming is required for this feature. It is allowed to all the stations.
Important Point:
• Conversation Recording is allowed only to stations having access to Conference.

Day and Night Modes
What’s this?
The PROTON 206/308 can be programmed to work differently during daytime (working hours) and nighttime
(non-working hours). This makes management of trunk calls efficient and avoid misuse of features and facilities.
Generally following features/facilities can be programmed differently for day and night times.
• Class of Service
3 Dial #. Feature tone stopped.
4 Dial Desired Code.
1 Dial Flash-#. This informs the system to pass following code.
2 Dial Flash-2. Speech with second call.
3 Dial Flash-#. This informs the system to pass following code.
4 Dial Flash-1. Speech with first call.
5 Dial Flash-#. This informs the system to pass following code.
6 Dial Flash-2. Speech with second call.
Speech with other party.
Dial Flash. Station gets feature tone. The other party gets hold on music.
Dial 109. The station gets RBT.
The PROTON-308 calls Cadence answers the call and conference is ensued
between caller, called party and the Cadence. The Cadence records the
conversation in the mailbox of the station user.
