How to use it?
Use following command to program a trunk as private trunk:
3*4-Station-Trunk
Where,
Station is from 21 to 28.
Trunk is 1, 2 or 3.
Example:
Program trunk ‘2’ as private trunk for station 101.
3*4-101-2
Use following command to cancel private trunk:
3*4-Station-0
Where,
Station is from 21 to 28.
Example:
Cancel trunk ‘2’ as private trunk from station 101.
3*4-101-0

Programming the System
What’s this?
The PROTON 206/308 is a flexible system and can be programmed to suit your needs. The PROTON 206/308
can be programmed for basic functions like Landing destinations, COS level to stations, etc.
How to use it?
Programming password is 4-digit secret code used to avoid unauthorized access to programming mode.
Default programming password is 1234.
In case the programming password is forgotten, the same can be cleared to its default value. For more
details on this, please refer section ‘System Security (Passwords)’.
System gives programming tone on entering programming mode.
Only one person can enter programming mode at a time.
User can enter in the programming mode from any station.
Steps for Programing:
It is advisable to program the PROTON 206/308 in following hierarchy. One may skip undesirable steps.
1. “Flexible Numbers” 51
2. “Class Of Service (COS)” 36
3. “Allowed and Denied Lists” 15
4. “Toll Control” 73
5. “Trunk Access” 75
6. “Trunk Parameters” 78
7. “Trunk Landing” 76
1 Lift the handset. Dial tone
2 Dial 19-Programming Password. Programming tone
3 Enter programming command. Confirmation tone
4 To exit programming mode, dial '0'. Dial tone
