Launching the Device Client
To launch the Device Client application, you need to click on the Device Client icon on the desktop formed after the
installing the setup. Type in: http://(server IP)
For e.g. http://192.168.1.123
The Device Client login page appears as shown: Type in one of the default Username in the Login ID field which is
mentioned as below:
Usernames:
• admin: System Administrator (has unlimited access rights).
• operator: System Operator has all the access rights except system configuration.
• viewer: Viewer has the minimum access rights for viewing and PTZ control only.
Password: The password for a user can be set at the time of the user’s first login. Enter the same in the Password
field.
Port: The default tcp port (8000) appears in the Port field. User may edit this field as per the settings configured
from the General option of the Basic Settings.
Check the Remember Password box if required. The system will not prompt you for the password at subsequent
logins.
Select Stay Signed In checkbox to automatically login to the device client. On enabling this option, once the user
logouts of the client and then tries to login again he will automatically get logged into the client when the application
is launched.
Click on Login button once done.
The home page appears on logging into the application.
