Anti-siphon Valve
• The anti-siphon valve is a vital part of the fuel system.
• If a fuel line ruptures, this valve will prevent fuel from siphoning from the tank.
• This valve is spring loaded and is opened by fuel pump vacuum.
• The anti-siphon valve is located on the tank, where the fuel feed line is attached.
• If an engine running problem is diagnosed as fuel starvation, check the anti-siphon valve.
• If the valve is stuck or clogged, change or replace it while the engine is shut down.
• NEVER run the engine with it’s anti-siphon valve removed, except in an emergency.
