Under certain conditions, hydrogen gas may be
producedin a hotwatersystemthat has notbeenused
fortwo weeks or more.Hydrogengas is explosive. If
the hot watersystem has not been usedfor such a
period,turn on all hot waterfaucets and let thewater
flowfromeachforseveralminutes.Thiswillreleaseany
accumulatedhydrogengas.Asthegasis flammable,do
notsmokeor use anopenflameduringthis process.
