Trouble Possible Cause Remedy
Brush does not clean hard surface. 1. Casters improperly adjusted. 1. RAISE casters (this lowers the broom).
Broom does not rotate. 1. Broom Control not engaged.
2. Engine clutch not engaging.
3. Broom drive belt slipping.
4. Broken belt.
5. Shear pin broken.
1. Engage Broom Control.
2. Check clutch operation. Repair if needed.
3. Check broom drive belt adjustment.
4. Replace belt.
5. Replace shear pin.
Excessive vibration. 1. Loose parts or damaged broom
assembly.
1. Tighten all hardware. Replace broom
assembly if necessary. If vibration continues,
see your dealer.
Surface not being cleared. 1. Broom pattern is too small. 1. Adjust broom pattern.

information.

IMPORTANT! Before performing any adjustment or service
to power broom, stop the engine and wait
for moving parts to stop. Remove the key. To
prevent accidental starting, disconnect the
spark plug wire and fasten away from the plug.
