Why is my McDonald's Commercial Food Equipment product undercooked or overcooked?

  Several factors can cause undercooked or overcooked food. The release material sheet might be worn and needs replacement. The upper platen or lower grill surface may not be clean, with carbon build-up requiring thorough cleaning following closing procedures. The cooking time or temperature could be incorrect, requiring you to reset or adjust the processor control accordingly. The preset gap height may also be incorrect, or a heating zone might not be heating, both of which require a service technician.

What to do if my McDonald's Commercial Food Equipment exhaust hood and grill will not turn on?

  If the exhaust hood and grill do not turn on, first, check if the restaurant circuit breaker has tripped and reset it if necessary. Next, ensure the fan disconnect switch on the roof is in the ON position. Also, verify the fan interlock cord is properly connected. If these steps don't resolve the issue, the fan interlock switch may be faulty, requiring a service technician.
