1. Momentarily
press and
release the
Front Panel
STORE Push-
button. The Front Panel Information Display will indi-
cate “PRESET 1: AVAILABLE”, which is the first of 9
Preset Numbers to be assigned. Refer to figures TM2-
21 and TM2-5. The Station to be entered into memory
may also be
assigned to
a different
Preset Num-
ber (2-9) by
rotating the TUNE (TRIM ADJUST) Control to select
the desired Preset Number.
Notes: 1. Presets are automatically assigned in order
from 1 to 9 unless a different Preset Number is
selected.
2. To exit without entering a new Preset into
memory, momentarily press the Front Panel
EXIT (STORE) Push-button.
2. To enter the station into menory press and hold in the
STORE Push-button until the Front Panel Information
Display indicates “PRESET STORED” then release
the STORE Push-button. Refer to figure TM2-22. The
just entered
Station Preset
will be as-
signed Preset
Number 1 (or
the Preset number you selected) and is displayed on the

3. Assign addi-
tional station

performing
steps 1 and 2.
Note: If all 9 Presets are assigned and the STORE Push-
button is pressed, the display will indicate the sta-
tion selected for Preset Number 1. Refer to figure
TM2-24 .
4. To verify
the Station
Preset(s) just
entered into
memory,
rotate the Front Panel TUNE (TRIM ADJUST) Con-
trol; using the Remote Control press the NEXT : or
BACK 9 Push-buttons to cycle through and confirm
your preset assignments.
Clearing Presets
5. Select the Station Preset to be removed by using the
Front Panel TUNE (TRIM ADJUST) Control or using
the Remote Control NEXT : or BACK 9 Push-
buttons.
6. Press and hold in the Front Panel STORE Push-button
until the Front Panel Information Display indicates
“PRESET CLEARED” then release the STORE Push-
button. Refer to figure TM2-25.
