The MA6600 responds to Remote Control Codes
NORMal (default) or ALTernate. The ALTernate
Codes are selected when the MA6600 is used with
another McIntosh Remote Controllable Preamplifier,
thus preventing both units from responding to the
same Remote Control Commands.
1. Press the MONO/SETUP Push-button until the
Setup Mode is active. Then press the MONO/
SETUP Push-button to select the Setup Menu
item “SETUP: REMOTE”. Refer to figure 14-1.
2. Rotate
the
TRIM
ADJUST
Control
until “REMOTE CODES: ALT” appears on the
Front Panel Information Display. Refer to figure
14-2.
3. Press the
STORE/
EXIT
Push-
button to exit the Setup Mode.
