Tips for Fingertip Sampling
1. Select ngertip. Clean area with soap and warm
water, rinse or use an approved disinfectant to clean
the area. Dry thoroughly.
2. Lance nger.
3. To help blood drop form, lower the hand to a level
below the heart and gently massage the nger from
palm to ngertip. Allow the blood drop to form
before attempting to apply the test strip. Apply sample
to Sample Tip.
4. Discard all biohazard materials into appropriate
container. Wash hands aer taking o gloves.
