Why is my Meaco DD8L Junior Dehumidifier not draining through the hose?
If your Meaco Dehumidifier's hose is fitted for continuous drainage but water still goes into the tank, negative air pressure in the room might be pulling the water back. To fix this, insert a 4mm hole into the top of the tube, 30mm down from the spout, to balance the air pressure.
Why is my Meaco Dehumidifier making a knocking noise?
If there's a knocking noise coming from your Meaco Dehumidifier, the motor that rotates the desiccant wheel might be low on lubrication. Run the dehumidifier in Laundry mode for two days to increase lubrication. If the noise persists, contact Meaco for assistance.
