13.3. Button functions
13.3.1. Playback
Press the button to start/pause playback. To resume playback, press the
button once again.
13.3.2. Stop
Press once to stop playback. In this mode, you can resume playback at the
same point by pressing .
Press once more to finally stop the DVD. The device is now in stop mode.
13.3.3. Skip
Press the or button during playback to skip backward or forward (with
DVDs: from chapter to chapter; otherwise, from track to track).
Please note that on many DVDs it is not possible to pass over the titles/
chapters before the actual film starts (licence notes).
13.3.4. Fast forward/rewind
Press the or button during playback to start fast forward/rewind. Repeat-
ed pressing allows you to increase the speed: 2x > 4x > 8x > 16x > 32x. By press-
ing the button once more or by pressing , you can return to the normal play
speed.
13.3.5. GOTO (direct search)
You can use the GOTO button to navigate directly to a chapter, track or time. Press
GOTO and use the arrow buttons to select the information that you wish to
change (e.g. track, time). Use the number buttons to make the desired entry and
press OK. Playback is then resumed from the desired point.
13.3.6. D.DISP (time display)
During playback, you can call up various pieces of information (e.g. current play
time, track/chapter number etc.) about the current media by pressing the D.DISP
button several times.
13.3.7. REPEAT
Press the yellow [REPEAT] button during playback. Each time the button is pressed,
the section to be repeated is shown (e.g. track, chapter etc.). The different repeat op-
tions vary depending on the media. The entry disappears after a couple of seconds.
