WMA FILE FORMAT AND DIGITAL
RIGHTS MANAGEMENT (DRM)
Your new USB MP3 Player can not only
playback MP3 files but also files that are
converted by Windows® Media Player into
WMA file format. Please note that some
WMA encoder programs could use DRM
(Digital Rights Management) software.
This DRM software is meant to stop unli-
censed, unauthorised encoding and copy-
ing of music files.
Please use Windows® Media Player version
7.0 (or above) for converting your audio
files into WMA files and copying these
WMA files to your portable device.
WMA files that are converted with Win-
dows® Media Player version 7.0 (or
above) can be played back on portable
devices.
Note: DRM means that the converted mu-
sic / audio file will get attached a special
DRM license file that would stop playing
back these files on portable devices in case
there would not be any license fee paid or
license agreement would be in place.
