The computer does not recognise the

¾ Check the installation (page 31
and following. Windows 98 SE: is
the driver installed?)
¾ Is a fresh battery inserted?
¾ Check the cable connections.
¾ Is the MP3 Player turned on?
¾ In Windows Control Panel,
check if the MP3 Player is in-
stalled correctly. Try installing
the USB controller again. Re-
move any other USB peripher-
als as a test.
