Mixing fuel
1. Measure out the quantities of petrol and oil to be mixed.
2. Put some of the petrol into a clean, approved fuel container.
3. Pour in all of the oil and agitate well.
4. Pour in the rest of the petrol and agitate again for at least one minute.
5. Clearly mark the petrol can to avoid mixing it up with other containers.
Refilling
1. Remove the fuel cap and oil cap. Place the caps in a dust-free location.
2. Pour the fuel mixture into the fuel tank and ll chain oil up to 80% of full capacity.
3. Replace the caps securely and wipe up any spillage.
CHAIN OIL
Always use oil specically intended for chainsaws.
NOTE: Do not use waste or regenerated oil as it can damage the oil pump.
STARTING
WARNING
• Before starting the engine, make sure the saw chain is not touching anything. The chain brake
must always be activated before starting.
• When running, the machine must always be held rmly in both hands. Even if you are left-
handed, you must have your left hand on the front hand-grip and the right hand on the rear
hand grip.
