5 Using the My Bean Select® function
With the My Bean Select® function, a single coee beverage can be
prepared from a dierent type of coee. Separately ll a single portion of
coee beans to prepare the coee.
While the bean container is full with lightly roasted coee beans, for exam-
ple, the My Bean Select® function can be used to prepare a coee beverage
from a single portion of darkly roasted coee beans.
5.1 Filling with coee beans for the My Bean Select®
function
ATTENTION
The use of unsuitable types of coee can lead to clogging of the grinder.
 Do not use freeze-dried or caramelised coee beans.
 The use of coee powder or instant products is not permitted.
Information
ū The grinder is emptied during each grinding process. Nevertheless,
minimal coee type mixing may occur.
ū Grinding when empty causes a dierent type of noise and is normal.
