ENGINE AND TRANSMISSION
Interval Task
Check prior to every use and every 3
hours of operation
Engine oil (reservoir), power steering
and transmission fluid ‑ Check level
Battery ‑ Check water level and
inspect for damage
Seawater pickups ‑ Check for marine
growth or debris
After each use
Flush the cooling system if used in
salty, brackish, or mineral laden water
Weekly
Seawater strainer ‑ Check for debris
and clean
Anodes ‑ Inspect and replace if 50
percent eroded
Every 15 hours or 90 days of operation
(1075 SCi Only)
Check exhaust header mounting bolts
for tightness
Flame arrestor ‑ Inspect and clean as
required
Engine oil and filter ‑ Change
Fuel filter ‑ Change or drain water
Check and adjust valve tip clearance
(lash)
Every 25 hours or 90 days of operation
(850 SCi Only)
Check exhaust header mounting bolts
for tightness
