7. Move gear shift lever to neutral (N) position. Be sure that the shift lever is
in neutral (N) when starting the engine. This model is provided with a
function that prevents starting in gear.

8. Move the throttle grip to the start position.

9. If the engine is cold, completely pull the choke knob out. Push in the
choke halfway as the engine is warming up. Push in completely after
engine is warmed up.
