3. Install the lanyard stop switch cap onto the stop switch. See
General Information ‑ Lanyard Stop Switch.

4. Shift outboard to neutral ("N") position.
5. Toggle the ignition switch to "ON."
NOTE: The red ignition/warning light illuminates when the
harness is energized and ready to start the engine, or if the engine
goes into Guardian mode. Since this system does not include a
warning horn, the red ignition/warning light acts as a visible
warning system.
