4. Lift the top cover and remove it from the instrument and disconnect the earth
cable (see Figure 4).

Now the analog bus can be reached from the top. If you do not have to install a module,
it is unnecessary to remove the front panel of the instrument. If a new module needs to
be installed in the instrument, it is necessary to remove the front panel.
Follow these steps to remove the front panel:
1. Unscrew the four screws, indicated in Figure 5, holding the front panel to the
frame from the mounting tabs.
