When the memory is accumulated to 99 memory sets.
Under this circumstance, if the device not cleared memory sets ,when the new measurement
is performed, then the new measurement value will always be stored in MR99. i.e. previous
MR99 will be automatically moved to MR98, MR01- the first value will be auto deleted.
Note: How not to store a reading
Press the M-button while the reading is being displayed. Keep the button pressed until <M>
is flashing and then release it.
Confirm by pressing the M-button again.
6. ERROR MESSAGES/MALFUNCTIONS
If an error occurs during a measurement, the measurement is interrupted
and a corresponding error code is displayed.

Error No. Possible cause(s)
ERR 1 The systolic pressure was determined but afterwards the cuff pressure fell
below 20 mmHg. This may occur
, if the tube unplugged after the systolic
blood pressure has been measured.
Further possible cause: No pulse has been detected.
ERR 2 Unnatural pressure impulses influence the measurement result. Reason: The
arm was moved during the measurement (Artefact).
ERR 3 An adequate pressure cannot to generated in the cuff. A leak may have
occurred. Check that the cuff is correctly connected and is not too loose.
ERR 5 The measured reading indicated an unacceptable difference between systolic
and diastolic pressures. Take another measurement following directions care-
fully. Contact your doctor if you continue to get unusual readings.
HI The pressure in the cuff is too high (over 300 mmHg)
OR the pulse is too high (over 200 beats per minute).
Relax for 5 minutes and repeat the measurement.*
LO The pulse is too low (less than 40 beats per minute).
Repeat the measurement.*
*Please consult your doctor if this problem occurs repeatedly.
Other possible malfunctions and solutions
If problems occur when using the device, the following points should be checked and if nec-
essary, the corresponding measures are to be taken:
