Most minor faults in the performance of the appliance, some of which may result
fr
om incorrect operation, can be put right without contacting the Service Depart‐
ment.
The following guide may help you to find the reason for a fault, and to correct it.

Unauthorised or incorrect repairs could cause personal injury or damage to
the appliance.

o electrical appliances should only be carried out by a suitably
qualified and trained person in strict acco
rdance with current local and national
safety regulations. The manufacturer cannot be held liable for unauthorised
work.
Technical problems

The dishwasher will not
start
.
The door is not properly closed.
P
ush the door firmly shut.
The appliance is not plugged in.
Inser
t the plug and switch on at the socket.
The mains fuse has tripped.
Reset the trip sw
i
tch in the mains fuse box or re‐
place the fuse in the plug (minimum fuse rating -
see data plate).
The dishwasher is not switched on.
Switch the dishwasher on with the butt
on.
The dishwasher stops
during a pr
ogramme.
The mains fuse has tripped.
Reset the trip swi
tch in the mains fuse box or re‐
place the fuse in the plug (minimum fuse rating -
see data plate).
If the mains fuse trips again, call the Miele Service
Depar
tment.
After the programme
has start
ed, the In-op‐
eration indicator light is
not visible.
The reflector panel was not correctly fitted.
Re-fit the reflect
or panel correctly (see Installation
diagram).
