Problem Cause and remedy
White residue is visible
on c
rockery and cut‐
lery, clouding occurs on
glassware; film can be
wiped off.
The rinse aid dosage is set too low.
Incr
ease the dosage. See "Before using for the

There is no salt in the salt reservoir.
Fill the salt reservoir (see "Before using for the first
time, Dishwasher salt").
The salt reservoir cap has not been screwed on cor‐
rectly

Replace it, making
sure that it screws back on
correctly.
An unsuitable combination product has been used.
Change your detergent. Use a standard liquid,
tablet or powd
er detergent, and fill the salt and
rinse aid reservoirs in the dishwasher.
