The installation must conform with
local codes or, in the absence of
local codes, with the National Fuel
Gas Code, ANSI Z223.1/NFPA 54.
The gas pressure may not
undershoot or exceed certain values.
Make sure that the maximum gas
pressure upstream of the gas
pressure controller does not amount
to more than 1/2psi (3.5kPA) for
natural and propane gas.
Make sure that the minimum gas
pressure amounts to a 6" (150 mm)
water head in the case of natural gas
and a 11" (279,4mm) water head in
the case of propane gas.
