Do not add more than 4.4 lbs (2 kg) of salt.
If there is water present in the compartment, it may be forced out by
the added salt.
Clean any excess salt from around the compartment opening and
the seal surrounding it, and then close the flap.
After refilling the salt compartment, run the Rinse program
immediately (with the dishwasher completely empty) to remove any
traces of salt from the interior. Salt residues can corrode the wash
cabinet.
