The drum door does not open when you press the Door button
Possible cause Remedy
The machine is not con

nected to the electricity
supply and/or is not swit

ched on.
Insert the plug in the socket and switch on and/or
switch the machine on with the
I-On/0-Off
button.
The safety lock has been
activated.
Deactivate the safety lock as described in "Chan

ging the programme sequence - Safety lock".
Access via a code has
been activated.
Deactivate the code as described in "Programma
-
ble functions - Code".
Power cut. Open the drum door as described in the next sec
-
tion.
The door was not correctly
engaged.
Press hard against the lock side of the drum door
and then press the
Door
button.
There is still water in the
drum and the machine is
unable to drain.
Clean the drain filter and drain pump as described
in the next section.
For safety reasons the drum door cannot be opened if the suds temperature is
higher than 55°C.
